Thank you for this article!

Dogs left in cars is a huge pet peeve of mine. I love this site - http://www.mydogiscool.com/b_flyer.php

They have nicely worded flyers about the dangers of leaving a dog in a hot car that I print out and keep in my glove box. I've left them on windshields many times.

Great tips! Also, for only about $20 you can get a thermometer sensor and remote with a temperature alarm. If I have to leave my dog in the car, I leave the sensor in one of the warmer parts of the car and take the monitor with me. It doesn't have a real long range, but you can tell if you are in range or not (and I stay in range.) If the thermometer ever hits 99, I'm out of there.

Thank you for all the good advice. The anti-freeze issue is one I always forget to be vigilant about.

Grrr... I hate when ppl leave their pets in their cars, even if it is "just for a few minutes".

LMAO about the guy's Corvette being overcompensatory.

Thank you for this reminder! Also, this may sound really obvious, but don't forget to give your pets lots of fresh and cold water.
