I use Flexcar in Seattle and it is amazing. Last week, I took a hybrid for a long drive, grabbed a truck for $10 to move some big items, and then ran errands with a Mini. When you first start, it's $5/hr, but that goes up after six months to about $10/hr – still a good deal.

I’ve used Zipcar in Boston and it has been a lifesaver! I’ve noticed that they’ve been branching out to lots of places, including big college towns.
