Thanks, everyone! Your thoughtful comments mean a lot.

Phen, I don't know if the menopause arm of the study is up on the MSKCC site or not. Dr. Van Zee presented some of the findings at a memorial service for Dr. Petrek in mid-2006. I think this is the primary article that resulted:

Petrek JA, Naughton MJ, Case LD, Paskett ED, Naftalis EZ, Singletary SE, Sukumvanich P.
Incidence, time course, and determinants of menstrual bleeding after breast cancer treatment: a prospective study.
J Clin Oncol. 2006 Mar 1;24(7):1045-51. Epub 2006 Feb 13.

Gina,
What an inspiring story! As an adopted child myself, I also had a sibling that was a birth child to my mom. Children are a blessing whether they are grown in the tummy or in the heart! Congrats to you and best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and a happy little family!

Oooh is the menopause study available on the Sloan-Kettering site? I mean, it's moot for me now, but I am excited to hear there's a study about it. I was so desperate for such a thing a year ago!

You're one of a handful of breast cancer survivor friends I have who are pregnant or had children after diagnosis...I'm thrilled for all of y'all!
