Ladies, I think it’s about time that we all took a moment and treated ourselves to a lovely spa treatment. What could be better than paying only $50 for a facial, a massage, a body wrap, a Brazilian wax, botox or microderm, I ask you? That’s right, I said deluxe spa treatments are only $50 for this limited time!
This is the fifth year with Spa Week.
They’ve expanded to eighteen states and twenty-one major cities and Canada with over 550 participating spas. According to Spa Week founder, Cheryl Reid, “the concept was simple; full service treatments, normally costing from $100 to $200 dollars, for just $50 dollars. No longer would spa be relegated to the wealthy; it was my mission to make it an affordable part of a healthy lifestyle routine.” I don’t know about you, but that’s a good enough reason for me!
Just keep the following in mind:
- There’s no limit to the amount of treatments you can book or the amount of spas you visit.
- Treatments average between 30 and 75 minutes.
- Book early for the best selection – things can sell out.
- Don’t forget to tip based on the full amount of the treatment (15-20% is typical).
So call or email your girlfriends and book as many treatments as you can squeeze in, since this special only comes around once a year. In fact, start booking sooner rather than later since spaces are filling quickly.
If this will be your first time visiting a spa or you’re not sure what to expect, be sure to read our article on What to Expect When You Go to a Spa. It’s written by Sharōn Ronen of SkinHaven in Los Angeles (where I’ll be getting my Spa Week facial) and is chock full of tips to make the most of your spa going experience.
If you’re not lucky enough to have participation in your neck of the woods, there are always the giveaways! And because I’m a sucker for freebies, giveaways and sweepstakes, be sure check out Redbook, Lucky, Women’s Health, and Allure giveaways and Marie Claire freebies, as well. And of course, there’s always our own ConstantChatter giveaways – new contests added weekly.
I’ll see you in the spa – happy pampering!
